The series’s plot revolves around Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) who is willing to do “anything” for love. The star of Gossip Girl is a good-looking and charming book-seller In Netflix’s You. He masters the art of online and real-life stalking. Elizabeth Lail plays the role of his never-ending obsession, Beck.
He uses social media to gather all the necessary information about her. Like a master-strategist, he quietly removes everything and everyone between him and his obsession. Caroline Kepnes’ novel, with the same title, is the inspiration behind Netflix’s YOU.
Who Will We See in Season 2? Season 1 Spoiler Alert!
Apart from Penn, most of the cast will be new in the next season. The change in the cast comes after Joe kills Beck in the Netflix’s YOU season 1.
The one noticeable addition will be Haunting of Hill House‘s Victoria Pedretti. She also played the role of Lulu in the Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Netflix’s You will also feature Melanie Filed as Sunrise and Marielle Scott as her partner Lucy. Other cast members include Magda Apanowicz (Sandy), Charlie Barnett (Gabe) and James Scully (Forty Quinn).
Meanwhile, Jane, the Virgin‘s Jenna Ortega will play Ellie, in Netflix’s YOU season 2.
