Selena Gomez, ending her 2-year hiatus, released an extremely emotional soundtrack on 23rd September 2019, reflecting on her previous love interest, Justin Bieber. While fans were anxiously waiting for the song, it seems that it might not have settled well with Justin Bieber’s newly wedded wife, Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Rhode Bieber). We don’t know about Hailey, but Selena Gomez is spreading the message of kindness. She wants women to stop putting each other down.
Hailey Rhode Bieber May Not Be Happy with Selena Gomez’s New Song But Gomez Replies with Kindness and Love!
There is something about teenage love; everybody wants their fairy-tale, young love to last forever. If you grew up in a time when Justin Bieber was hitting billboard charts with Baby and Selena Gomez starring in Disney Channel’s The Wizard of Oz, you would be familiar with their off-and-on relationship. While this the Bieber-Gomez chapter closed a few years ago, Selena Gomez revealed some details about her relationship with Justin Bieber through her new song Lose You To Love Me.
The last Justin Bieber news we heard was when he tied the knot with Hailey Baldwin officially a few weeks ago. While the couple got married on 13th September 2018, they certainly celebrating the wedding with friends and family.
On the other hand, sometime around the same date as Justin Bieber and Hailey Rhode Bieber’s marriage in 2018, Selena Gomez news revolved around the singer taking a break from social media. She wrote:
“Taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi.”
Ending her 2-year hiatus of not releasing a solo (Wolves and Taki Taki collaborations excluded), Selena Gomez is back with a track. Remember Heart Wants What It Wants? Imagine another song 10 times more painful and emotional.
Selena Gomez’s Love You To Love Me deciphers her hurtful relationship with Bieber. “In two months, you replaced us, like it was easy” explicitly points out to how Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey Baldwin within three months of his breakup with Gomez.
The American singer-songwriter revealed that this new song resonates with the happenings of her life since her last album. In a press release, Selena said,
“this song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing the last album.”
What About Justin Bieber?
There is no news on Justin Bieber and his reaction to Selena’s new song. Though, Hailey Rhode Bieber had something to say. The 22-year newlywed posted a screenshot of Summer Walker’s I Will Kill You track minutes after Selena Gomez released Lose You To Love Me.
Now was it the bad timing or intentional, we don’t know. However, the daughter of American actor Stephen Baldwin sure knows how to hold the fort. Hailey Rhode Bieber later deleted her story and wrote,
“Please stop with this nonsense. There is no ‘response.’ This is complete BS.”
So Now What?
With fans going on a rampage and abusing Mrs. Bieber for her post, Selena Gomez took bold steps. She requested her followers to stop being bullies, taking one step of kindness towards the Biebers. During her Instagram live session, Selena Gomez said,
“I am grateful for the response that the song is getting. I’m so grateful. However, I do not stand for women tearing women down. And I will never, ever be by that. So please be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter what the situation is. If you’re my fans, don’t be rude to anybody, please. Don’t go off and say things that you just feel in the moment. And just please, from me, know that that’s not my heart. My heart is only to release things that I feel that are me and that I’m proud of. And that’s all that I’ll say, yeah.”
So that’s all from Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez news for today. Let’s see if this drama spices up or settles in the dust, just like Selena settled her feelings for Justin Bieber for good.
