Charlie XCX Forms an All Girl Band in Trailer for ‘I’m With the Band: Nasty Cherry’

There’s a documentary coming on Netflix and it features the best girl band ever. However, we can bet a million dollars that you won’t know who the band is. Let us just give you a hint, one of the band’s member is Charlie XCX.

How Charli XCX Formed Nasty Cherry

If you’re a die-hard fan of the singer, you already know that the singer is in a band. Charlie XCX formed Nasty Cherry last year and the band has begun releasing singles over the last few months. It was during a show at NYC’s Terminal 5 Monday, Charli XCX airdropped a Notes App letter to her fans in the audience. In the note, she wrote,

“I wanted to share this secret with you guys, my most hardcore fans, over this lil airdrop situation — coz then you’d hear the news FIRST. So here it goes… over the past year, I’ve been making and starring in a TV show about my favourite band (who I put together) — Nasty Cherry.”

The Trailer is Out

The trailer for the band’s documentary was released only about a day ago and by the looks of it, it’s going to be crazy. The trailer features all members of the band including Charlie XCX. The other four members are Gabbriette Bechtel, Chloe Chaidez, Georgia Somary and Debbie Knox-Hewson. You can see all the band members in studio, rehearsals and during their downtime. All in all, you’re getting an inside scoop on the band with this new documentary.

Charlie XCX has called this band unashamedly real and also badass. And after seeing the trailer, we can’t help but agree.

Nasty Cherry has played sold-out shows in New York and Los Angeles. They will release their debut EP in November. The documentary, I‘m with the Band: Nasty Cherry releases on Netflix on November 15th. You can catch the trailer below.
