After a very, very successful start to his career, Gaten Matarazzo, or Stranger Things’ Dustin, will be taking on a new show. Coming up on Netflix Prank Encounter will have our little Dustin bring on guests to his show as he pulls off terrifying pranks on them.

Gaten Matarazzo is popular for portraying the role of Stranger Things’ Dustin but little did we know he had great plans. Netflix recently dropped a trailer for Prank Encounters. According to the trailer, Matarazzo will set up supernatural situations to scare his unsuspecting guests.

In a Tweet regarding the show, Matarazzo said:

If I were you I probably wouldn’t trust anyone this Halloween season… especially me!!

A Fresh Style For Gaten Matarazzo

Just like any other prank or horror shows, Gaten Matarazzo’s show will have hidden cameras as well. His guests will be called for a one-time gig of any sort. However, just when they start to settle into their assignment, things will start to become spooky. The trailer also showed us a glimpse of what will be happening in the show.

For example, in this one scene, a “monster” was shattering windows of a house with his guests inside. In the other one, a surgeon witnessed an arm pop out of a patient’s belly during surgery. Luckily for these people, everything ends up in a laugh as Gaten Matarrazo rescues them and reveals his prank.

More On Stranger Things’ Dustin

While Gaten Matarazzo pranks people and Stranger Things’ Dustin fights Demogorgons, there is a real issue to deal with. Gaten Matarazzo, age 17, has been suffering from Cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) since he was born. He describes it as one of the major reasons he never got roles in acting before Stranger Things.

He says:

“It’s one of the biggest reasons why I [hadn’t] been getting roles, because of my lisp, and the teeth situation, and my height,”

The condition affects his bone structure as he does not have collar bones, due to which he can make his shoulders touch in the front. For this reason, he has shown support to CCD Smiles, an organization battling CCD, several times.
