Luke Evans is All Set to Release His Debut Album ‘At Last’
Some people just have it all. They have the looks, the acting chops, and even the singing chords. If you haven’t guessed yet who we’re talking about, we’re talking about the one and only Luke Evans. The actor from movies such as Dracula Untold and Beauty and the Beast is now all set to release a debut album. Yes, you read that right. The actor is turning into a singer, we won’t call it that, but he is releasing an album called At Last.
Luke Evans Announces a Debut Album
The actor, 40, dropped a teaser of his upcoming LP, At Last, sharing a brief taste of his cover version of Pat Benatar‘s 1983 hit “Love Is A Battlefield”. To put it in simple words, the album is going to be a collection of covers of both old and new songs. However, you must be thinking whats the use of releasing an album then if he’s only going to do covers. You see, even though they’ll be covers essentially, they’ll be more like renditions. You’ll get to see Luke Evans’s unique take on all the beloved songs.
Details and Dates – Also the Tracklist
The album is described as an eclectic collection of modern and classic songs. The tracklist includes songs like U2’s With Or Without You, Maria McKee’s Show Me Heaven and Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time. We know, it’s pretty damn gay. But who’s complaining. We’re happy for the content.
Also, At Last drops on November 22.
What Does Luke Evans Has to Say About His Debut Album?
The actor states,
The album is a reimagining of very well-known tracks, So we were looking for tracks that we could strip right back down to the bare essentials and then add new arrangements. Turning an ’80s pop anthem or power ballad into something more acoustic or intimate — but retaining the essence of the original.
This has all hyped up. And if you still can’t feel the excitement for his album, check out the teaser below.
