Fans for Netflix’s Stranger Things have been crazy all day when their social media accounts teased some cryptic messages for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a full trailer yet. The teaser was this:

Then we got ourselves a full teaser:

Kudos to everyone on their marketing team because they certainly know how to get the fans excited.

More Good News From the Duffer Brothers

The creators of the show Ross and Matt Duffer have reportedly signed a deal with Netflix to release new movies and series for the streaming service.

Here’s what Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos had to say:

“The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love. We can’t wait to see what the Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of the Upside Down.”

That’s surely exciting but more so for Stranger Things fans who were waiting for another season. We don’t know the release date as of yet. But we can assume it would come pretty soon next year.

Stranger Things Season 4 Cast

We’ll probably see the main cast return. That means Millie Bobby Brown reprising her role as Eleven/El, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Noah Schnapp as Will, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas and Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin. Moreover, Joe Keery as Steve, Natalia Dyer as Nancy and Charlie Heaton as Jonathan will return to the screens as well. Sadly, we won’t see the fan-favorite Dacre Montgomery anymore since he died in Stranger Things season 3. Another Hawkins citizen that we probably won’t see is David Harbour since he sacrificed his life in the last season so that Joyce (Winona Ryder) could close the gate. There are theories that state David Harbour may come back but we have no clue as of now. Newcomers Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke will definitely be a major part of Stranger Things season 4.

The gang is not in Hawkins anymore. So, their adventures are going to take them someplace else. That leads to more exciting opportunities for the show to expand on the brilliant premise the show has created.
