‘His Dark Materials‘ The Adventure
‘His Dark Materials‘ is a 2019 fantasy television series based on Philip Pullman’s novel of the same name. The series, in fact, is created for HBO and BBC One. The cast includes Ruth Wilson Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Clarke Peters, Lin-Manuel Miranda. His Dark Materials follows an intrepid young lady belonging to an alien world. Lorne Balfe has started composing music for the epic 8-part TV adaptation of David Pullman’s book series, His Dark Materials. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child fame Jack Thorne wrote the script for the series. Tom Hooper, in fact, directed the series for two big streamers.

Lorne Balfe, a British composer attributes his Hollywood fame to “luck and being prepared to work unsociable hours”. However, his talent plus hard work are the factors that brought popularity and recognition for the composer and producer.
“Writing music for me is easy, and is less stressful than a nine-to-five job. What I find hard is going to meetings and dealing with lawyers. The Hollywood lifestyle is hectic and often you have to survive on just four hours sleep before starting again. But at the end of the day the regime works, you churn it out and it pays off.”
