Alex Fitzalan Partners Up With Prada for a Good Cause
Climate change has become a very important topic now and needs our full attention. However, knowing us we don’t take anything seriously until and unless some of our favorite celebrities are talking about it. So, we’re here to tell you all about the project Alex Fitzalan did with Nat Geo and Prada.
Alex Fitzalan Partners with Prada and Nat Geo for Sustainability
The Society star, Alex Fitzalan recently partnered with Prada and Nat Geo to promote the brands new eco-friendly and sustainable products. In an Instagram post, the actor writes in the caption,
Hello there, I was fortunate enough to work with @prada and @natgeo on an incredible awareness campaign on ghost gear in the ocean.
Basically, ghost gear is used fishing equipment that’s been left in the oceans, with nets entangling animals as large as whales!! These nets NEVER STOP FISHING as they travel around the world via currents. The only way to fix the problem is to remove them. I had the pleasure to watch the volunteers at @ghostfishingnz remove a recreational net that was 40m in length. Commercial fishing nets can be up to kilometres in length and do significantly more damage. The healthy seas initiative (@healthyseas) works to remove nets from the ocean and turn them into a sustainable nylon thread to make all sorts of nylon products. Like the one in this pic right here you see!!! #pradarenylon 🐬

Some members of the cast including Alex Fitzalan and Toby Wallace met up at a recent fashion event. Alex also shared a post from that meeting on his Instagram. He captioned it with a sweet “Friends.”
