After six years of the pause finally, we get to see Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) escaping from the blood bath in the season finale. Breaking Bad, the hit AMC series ended in September 2013. Since then, there were many theories about how Jesse could have survived the hellish compound he was trapped in. Moreover, people wondered whether Walter is still alive or not. Now, these theories have answered in shape of a thriller movie written and directed by show’s creator Vince Gilligan. The movie is titled, El Camino.

Story Plot of Breaking Bad’s El Camino | Do we know anything?

Two trailers have been released so far. But they haven’t given away anything apart from the fact that Jesse Pinkman is out and trying to stay away from trouble.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will pick up where the TV show left off. Basically, the plot will focus on Jesse Pinkman’s escape from the white supremacists’ compound.

The Albuquerque Journal‘s initial report on the film claims that it’ll “track the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom”. Variety has also confirmed that Vince Gilligan is driving the project, with the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator reportedly set to write, executive produce and even possibly direct the film. Better Call Saul executive producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein have also been linked to the project.

Is Walter Coming back to Life?

Breaking Bad season finale ends with Walter has seen bleeding out on the floor in the series finale. Fans are still hopeful that Walt may still be alive.

We did not get clear hints of whether Bryan Cranston is in the movie or not. However, there is one man uttering “Are You Ready?” to Jesse at the end of the trailer. The deep voice seems eerily similar to Cranston’s voice! It’s a long shot but the movie would be highly interested if the leading man returns for the movie.
