After 6 years of the movie Rush, another movie of speed racing will hit theaters on November 2019. Matt Damon and Christian Bale are playing lead roles in the racing movie, Ford v Ferrari. In fact, the movie is based on the rivalry between the US and Italian car-makers specifically at the “24 Hours of Le Mans” competition.
Ford V Ferrari is directed by James Mangold and written by Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth, and Jason Keller. James Mangold is best known for directing the films, Logan. (2017, for which he wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay). While the genius performances from Matt Damon and Christian Bale turned this movie into one of the most thrilling films of the year.

Ford v Ferrari is about automotive designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and race car driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). They lead a team of engineers and designers from Ford to build a race car in 90 days which can beat the fabulous Ferrari.
After putting all their efforts, they were able to make the Ford GT40 for an ultimate race at the 1966 “24 Hours of Le Mans”. The GT40 to handle a larger, more powerful engine, and it became a racing legend by scoring a 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans in 1966. In fact, Christian Bale praised Kent Miles for his dedication towards racing in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes.

Ford v Ferrari had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on August 30, 2019. Whereas; Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures schedule to release it on November 15, 2019, in theaters in the United States.
The movie, in fact, received positive reviews from critics, who lauded the performances, and racing sequences. Moreover, Erik Davis (who is an American writer, scholar, journalist, and public speaker) tweeted following after watching the Movie at TIFF19 :
