Reasons Why You Should Be Watching Facebook Watch’s Limetown
Facebook Watch is coming up with an eerie television series called Limetown. It is based on the famous Limetown podcast, a fiction series which was created by Two-Up Productions. Critics say that the upcoming Limetown show will remind you not only of the famous podcast Serial, but also the of The X-Files. There are many reasons why you should be ‘watching’ Facebook Watch’s Limetown. Let’s take a look.
Facebook Watch’s Limetown | Cast & Plot
The cast of Limetown is a major attraction factor. You will be seeing Justin Timberlake’s wife Jessica Biel in the leading role, Lia Haddock. Other cast members include Omar Elba, Sherri Saum, John Beasley, and Stanely Tucci. The plot revolves around Lia Haddock who is a journalist for American Public Radio (APR). Her job takes a twist as she tries to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of 326 people at a neuroscience research facility in Tennessee.
The official trailer sets up a new mood when you are slightly scared but still want to watch the series. Hundreds of people vanishing without a trace, Lia Haddock getting warnings by other people, everything about the trailer has us excited.
Lia, if you keep telling this story, everyone you love will die.
Jessica Biel struggles to find the truth as people vanish. And she will tell the story to everyone even though she keeps getting threat calls.
Release Date & More
While checking the official trailer, I observed some comments on YouTube stating that this show is another way of Facebook to steal more money and information from the users. As a matter of fact, some are even interested in watching the show but they are too scared to trust Facebook Watch. Well, the trailer is thrilling and it, definitely, is a must-watch. Jessica Biel also serves as Executive Producer of Limetown series. If you do not trust Facebook, you can at least trust her. She is not only Justin Timberlake’s wife, but also an amazing actress.
Limetown will be available on Facebook Watch from October 16, 2019. It premiered a few days back on TIFF. And it will be exclusively available on Facebook Watch only.
