This is what I imagine a villain would give his kid on their birthday. It’s a drone, which you can activate by just a button from its back. Then to control the drone you just use your hand and get it to fly anywhere you want. Of course, these features work best under optimal conditions, and the Spark doesn’t always operate flawlessly, but its size and simplicity are a feat in their own right.

Yes, Microsoft finally decided to make a real laptop, not those tablet-notebook hybrids that pretend to be a laptop. Microsoft made their laptop called the “Surface Laptop” as a showpiece for Windows 10 S, the newer version of Windows that can only run programs from Microsoft’s app store. With Windows 10 S, Microsoft is hoping to make the software simpler to allow for faster performance, more battery life, and better security. But those who find Windows 10 S too restrictive can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro on the Surface Laptop for free for a limited time.

Ever thought of a game consoles that you can play on the TV as well as on tiny screens as you’re out on the commute? Well, Nintendo Switch brings you just that. The Switch consists of a tablet with a 6.2-inch screen with slots for attaching Nintendo’s Joy-Con controllers on either side, turning it into a handheld video game machine. But when you’re at home, you can slide the slate into a dock that hooks up to your TV and play it like a traditional console. The most popular games are Super Mario Odyssey to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. So definitely worth a try.
