The Vampire Diaries fame Nina Dobrev took a moment yesterday to praise Taika Waititi’s upcoming war -comedy movie, Jojo Rabbit. The movie, in fact, is termed as an “anti-hate satire”. This is the story of a young boy growing up in World War II Germany. The boy was shocked to find that his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. This action, suddenly, shakes the nationalist idealism of the young Jojo. Roman Griffin Davis is playing the title character in the movie.
Nina Dobrev Is A Jojo Rabbit Fan
The Bulgarian born actress, Nina Dobrev recently showered some extra praise on the Waititi’S directorial Jojo Rabbit. Although the actress has just watched the early screening of the movie.
Taika Waititi’s “Jojo Rabbit”, in fact, open the 15th Fantastic Fest on September 19 at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar in Austin, Texas. Taika (who is famous for his directorial magnificence Thor, Ragnarok ) himself play the boy’s imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler in the movie. The film is an adaptation of Christine Leunens’ novel Caging Skies.

Cast And Plot
Besides Waititi and Roman Griffin Davis, the cast includes Thomasin McKenzie, Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant, Alfie Allen, Sam Rockwell, and Scarlett Johansson. Jojo Rabbit will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and the movie will be released for public on Oct. 18
Roman Griffin Davis is the titular Jojo, a young boy who discovers his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their house – This unbelievable act devastates the misconceptions he’s been believed under the Nazi dominance. To resolve this confusion, Jojo takes help from his imaginary friend Adolf Hitler.
Waititi Addresses The Grim Issue Hilariously
In an interview last May, the Newzealand born Waititi said that,
while the film is comedic, it’s also more of a drama, with a lot of light moments throughout. It’s a 10-year-old kid’s version of Hitler.
The offbeat WWII comedy, though, showcases a perfect witty atmosphere, yet, delivers the grave issue that how a young boy confronts his unjaded patriotism.
Nina Dobrev, The Multi-Talented Celebrity
Nina Dobrev, the popular Canadian actress has also stepped into production. The sexy Mia Jones on Degrassi: The Next Generation will be the executive producer of upcoming indie comedy Sick Girl. She is also playing the title role in the movie. The movie, in fact, is a directorial debut for Jennifer Cram who is also writing the script for the film.
