Looking For Alaska | Everything We Know So Far

0 770

We have never made our dislike for adaptations a secret. We feel like they’re never as good as the book and ruin the characters that we hold so dear. But we’re conflicted about the upcoming Hulu series which is an adaptation of a John Green novel, Looking For Alaska. Now John Green novels are not new to film adaptations. There’s already The Fault in our Stars and Paper Towns. But Looking For Alaska is a first series adaptation, with renowned creators and good actors. This is giving us hope. Let’s just hope it’s not false hope.

Everything You Need to Know

In the roles of Alaska and Miles, The Society’s Kristine Froseth plays the former, while the latter is played by Charlie Plummer. We’re going, to be honest, we didn’t really think that Alaska and Miles would look like Kristine and Charlie, but we know they’re good and capable actors. Let’s just hope they’re good and capable as Miles and Alaska too.

Looking For Alaska, the series is created by the same creators as Gossip Girl, so at least we know everyone is going to be talking about the series and it’s going to become famous. Will it stay true to the book material, we don’t know about that. But let’s hope so.
