The music video for Umpah Umpah released at midnight Korean standard time. Though the album and digital version of the song is yet to release on 20th August 6 pm Korean standard time. Red Velvet released their first title track under Reve Festival a few months back. Zimzalabim was not everyone’s cup of tea but that’s why we love Red Velvet so much. They’re always doing something new and they have done it again. The theme and concept for Umpah Umpah are entirely different from their previous title track. Umpah Umpah is the second installment under the Reve Festival.

As is with K-pop fandoms, the hashtag for the comeback started trending in only a matter of minutes after the release of the comeback. #SayUmpahUmpah started trending worldwide after the music video release and in only a matter of mere minutes, the hashtag rose to number 1 with over 200k plus tweets.

The Fans Reactions

Under the hashtag, Red Velvet fans who are known as Reveluvs are reacting in the best way. Its all chaos and everyone is in love with the new summer bop.

The visuals really are unreal in this mv.

Red Velvet not only sings but acts too. Get you a group that can do both!

We love the throwbacks.

Wheres the lie though!

We’re not sure we can handle a mixture of peek a boo and bad boy. However, as loyal fans, we’re waiting for it.

Who owns pink? Irene does.

Seulgi opening the song was everything. We have her opening line on repeat!
