Ariana Grande Amazed As Her Album ‘Thank U, Next’ Clocks Six Months

The start of the year 2019 game brought gloomy times for the multi-platinum Grammy-winning pop sensation Ariana Grande. The controversy is involving her ex-boyfriend’s (Mac Miller) death and break up with SNL star Pete Davidson engulfed Grande in a quicksand of negative media attention. Times were difficult, but Grande knew she had to stand up again, for herself, for the love of music, and for her devoted fans. There were a lot of explanations to give, and a lot of stories to tell. But Grande, not wanting to make things a stretch, chose to answer back with what she does best. The recording artist, whose wide vocal range is only parallel to the iconic Mariah Carey, addressed all her controversies lyrically, through her fifth studio album, Thank u, next; which she released on February 8th, 2019.

With it tracks including Thank u, next; and 7 Rings peaking atop Billboard charts across several countries, Ariana’s 5th studio album stole the thunder from her previous record listing ‘Sweetener‘, very quickly becoming the best work of her career. Thank U, Next Completes Six Months

Recently, Ariana Grande retweeted a fan post exclaiming how it’s already been six months since the debut of Thank u, next. Grande, herself being amazed by how quickly time passed by, penned down her feelings in the tweet’s caption. Ariana Grande Sweetener Tour 2019 songs

Grande wrote, “six …… how.”

While the original tweet had asked Ariana to nominate her 3 best songs, the R&B artist remained careful as to not channel in any favoritism. Nevertheless, her fans mostly did all the work for her. Enlisting their own top 3’s, fans literally waged online wars on each other over what could be Ariana’s best set of songs.

Since there are so many good ones, the lists barely had any intersections.

Ariana Grande had enlisted popular writers and producers such as Tommy Brown, Max Martin, Ilya Salmanzadeh and Andrew “Pop” Wansel for Thank u, next. For Grande, Thank u next brought her immense critical and commercial success. While critics applauded the work for being cohesive and for marking a fresh start for Grande, the album also broke the record for the largest streaming week for a pop album, debuting with 360,000 album-equivalent units; thus, turning a huge profit.

 Sweetener By Ariana Grande Will Also Complete A Year Soon

Importantly, a fan also pointed out that Ariana’s fourth studio album Sweetener will also complete a year in the coming days of the same month. This caused fans to pay their odes to Ariana for giving them two brilliant song collections just six months apart.

Ariana Grande is currently touring the globe to promote her fourth and fifth studio albums. Grande will arrive in Europe, August 17th, which coincidentally also marks the first anniversary of Sweetener’s release.
