The popular YouTuber Superwoman is finally coming to television. The NBC talk show A Little Late with Lilly Singh has finally secured a premiere date. Not just that, but NBC has even landed on a show runner for it. Although it is more than a month away, fans have already geared up their enthusiasm. Lilly herself seems excited enough as she creates a Save the Date post for her show on social media.
Superwoman Lilly Singh’s NBC Show Goes Live This September
A Little Late with Lilly Singh is all set to debut on Monday, 16th September. NBC has also picked up veteran producer John Irwin as the showrunner for this talk show. The project will be taking the 1.35 am spot which was previously occupied by Last Call With Carson Daly for the last 17 consecutive years. Probably what makes this show extra important for Lilly is that this makes Superwoman the first woman to host a late night show on the broadcast networks.
Lilly herself took to Instagram to announce the date asking people to spread the news as further as possible. This time, she encouraged them to use the gossip sources available including those aunties which will inform the whole neighborhood about something. While she is counting days, Superwoman expressed in a hashtag that this is definitely not the save the date ceremony that her parents must be expecting of her.
A Little Late with Lilly Singh is executive produced by Casey Spira, O’Connor and Sarah Weichel and Polly. While Superwoman and Irwin are also executive producers, Ryan Polito has joined as director. While talking about her NBC talk show now having a premiere date, she claimed that,
I’m literally counting down the days until the premiere. It’s 53. I’m thrilled to be collaborating with this all-star team of writers as we work to bring a new, authentic perspective to late night.
Fans are also excitedly waiting for September 16th. Knowing Lilly Singh, there is no way the show can disappoint!
