Nina Dobrev to Star in Indie Movie Sick Girl
The popular Elena from Vampire Diaries might be looking at herself with a new role. Now that CBS has cancelled her show Fam with just one season, the actress needed to get busy. So, Nina Dobrev has landed herself a role in the upcoming Indie movie Sick Girl. Not just that, but she will also be an executive producer for the project which marks the writing and directing debut for Jennifer Cram.

Wendi McLendon-Covey, Brandon Mychal Smith, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Koenig, Hayley Magnus, Dan Bakkedahl and Ray McKinnon will costar with Nina in the upcoming movie. Sick Girl will be a female driven comedy focusing on Wren Pepper played by Nina. It will follow the story of Wren who feels that she has grown apart from her lifelong friends. Then, a simple lie from her would lead to unexpected journeys, tearing the whole community apart.
The Indie movie Sick Girl will be produced by Sean McEwen, Cassidy Lunnen, John Papsidera and Jessica Wilde. Nina Dobrev will be an executive producer along with Takashi Cheng. While talking about the movie, writer-director Jennifer Cram shared that,
