BTS is always making and breaking records. So, it comes as no surprise that BTS got 4 nominations in the upcoming VMA’s 2019.

BTS Gets Nominated for Best Collaboration

The latest song from BTS Boy With Luv was a collaboration with the singer Halsey. The song was a major hit and it comes as no surprise that it’s nominated. For all of you who don’t know the VMA’s are MTV Video Music Awards and let’s be honest all of BTS’s videos deserve an award each.

Alongside BTS other nominations include: Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (Remix)” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow,”  Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Señorita,” Taylor Swift’s “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care”.

Other 3 Nominations

The VMA’s have added a new category known as Best Kpop. Army’s the fans of the seven member kpop group are specifically snubbed about this category. Though they do have a point. BTS’s music videos are at sub par with the other artists videos and we’ll even go on to day that Boy With Luv’s music video was better than most nominations nominated in the Best Music Video category. However, aside from Army’s other kpop fandom are celebrating as other Kpop groups such as Blackpink and EXO are also nominated in the Best Kpop category.

Other 2 nominations for the Bighit Entertainment group includes Best Art Direction and Best Choreography. You can vote for your favorite group here. Also the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on August 26 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

Aside from this, group member Jimin has made it into GQ’s best dressed men list. So, Army’s you’ve got reasons to celebrate.
