Kaitlyn Dever is full of surprises. We could have never though that the next time we’ll see Kaitlyn Dever after Booksmart would be in a Netflix limited series based on sexual assault.

Unbelievable Trailer Out Now

The trailer for the new Netflix limited series Unbelievable dropped on 18th July. From the looks of the trailer, the show seems to be about sexual assault and teen rape. Don’t worry it’s going to be nothing like 13 Reasons Why. It’s going to be better and hopefully won’t romanticize ideas that can be triggering. You can catch the trailer below.

Everything You Need to Know About Unbelievable

Unbelievable is based on the 2015 investigative report “An Unbelievable Story of Rape” by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong. The limited series stars Kaitlyn Dever, Toni Collette , Merritt Wever , and Danielle Macdonald. The plot of the show revolves around the story of a teenager who reports a rape. However, she is only to be charged for making a false accusation. Dever portrays the central figure, with Collette and Wever co-starring as detectives.

Unbelievable is developed for television by Erin Brockovich writer Susannah Grant. It will premiere on 13 September on Netflix.

Kaitlyn Denver, The Rising Star of 2019

Kaitlyn Denver, who we last saw in Booksmart is without a doubt doing wonders for her career. She blew us away with her natural acting skills in Booksmart (which is the best teen movie of 2019 so far) and now she’s in Unbelievable. This limited series is not only going to show us the inner workings of investigative bureaucracies but also show case the immense talent Kaitlyn Dever possesses.
