Taylor Swift Beats Kylie Jenner in Forbes List
When mostly Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kylie Jenner’s names might appear together in feuds only, this time it is different. All three celebrities are at the height of their careers. They have made it to the Forbes’ list of highest-paid entertainers for 2019. While Kylie already made headlines earlier being on the list as youngest self-made billionaire, this time the first spot was grabbed by Swift. We’re sure the great popularity that Taylor Swift’s new music gained had something to do with it.
Taylor Swift on Number 1 Spot for Forbes List of Highest-Paid Entertainers
With her new music tour for Reputation in 2018, the 29-year old singer grossed just over $266 million. With that, she topped the list for this year. And now that Taylor Swift has some new music ‘Lover‘ coming up, she might just grab the spot next year as well.
According to Forbes, her total earnings in 2018 reported to be $185 million. But that’s not her net worth because Forbes went with pre-tax earnings between June 1st 2018 to June 1st 2019.
After Swift, Kylie Jenner came number 2 on the list. In 2018, her company Kylie Cosmetics sold items worth $360 million while her annual earnings were already reported to be $170 million.
Kylie’s brother in law Kanye West followed her at spot number 3. Over the last year, his Yeezy shoe line made an estimated $1 billion in sales. Although he owns the Yeezy Clothing Line as well, he made lots of money from his Adidas partnership.
Apart from Swift, Kylie, and Kanye, others who made it to the list included Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Christiano Rinaldo, Lionel Messi, Ed Sheeran, Dwayne Johnson, Lewis Hamilton and Celine Dion.
Forbes list also mentions that while Kylie Jenner and Taylor Swift proved to be very powerful, a total of 16 women made it to the list only.
