0 114

It looks like James Charles and Tati Westbrook feud will continue to be one of the most hyped ones on social media. After Westbrook publicly severed ties with her long time friend Charles over his refusal to market for her products of Halo Beauty, Charles suffered a lot. Not only did he lose followers, but many celebrities like Jeffree Star sided with Tati. Although James apologized in his own video, the scandalous events led to both the YouTubers taking a hiatus from social media. In fact, James was forced to cancel his Sisters Tour amidst everything that was going on. Consequently, the drama faded as Shane Dawson stepped in telling people to spread positivity. But seems like it’s never going to rest completely. Now students are writing about the feud in their AP exam essays.

Teens Discuss Charles vs Westbrook Feud as Overrated in AP Exams

This year, the AP English exam called for students to reflect on something overrated. While there could be many options available for this topic, many chose to discuss the beef between the beauty vloggers which dominated social media throughout May.

A high school junior discussed writing about the James Charles and Tati Westbrook feud in the exam with MEL magazine. She shared that,

I felt it fitting and timely to include. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one.

Although the College Board prohibits students from discussing their exam topics and answers, many took to Twitter to share the same.

Another high school student shared that,

The James Charles scandal is such a big deal right now and everyone knows so much about it that it just seemed like one of those topics that would be easy to write in detail about. I know so much about it, I might as well use it for something lmao.

Looks like spending hours watching celebrity beefs on social media finally paid off for some!
