Are Marvel And Sam Raimi Finally Releasing A Spider-Man 4?
Marvel posted a mysterious Spider-man poster on Sunday, leading fans to believe that Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire were teaming up to produce their abandoned sequel to the Spider-man trilogy. The Instagram teaser shows a spider climbing atop a “4” on a web. And its caption includes a mysterious hashtag ‘#MarvelComics.” There was no other information as such.
The same teaser resurfaced shortly on Twitter. But there, editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski had something to say.
“No one is going to see this one coming,” editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski teased.

Fans Believe A Fantastic Four And Spider-man Comics Collaboration Is In The Works
Rumors are; however, rife that the teaser has nothing to do with the trilogy’s sequel. 4 may possibly hint towards a crossover between Spider-man and the Fantastic Four in the comic books. Or it may simply be an expression dictating that Raimi’s unproduced film will now be adapted into a comic book. Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 4 2020
However, another teaser was released which contradicts the crossover theory.

The countdown ends in 2 days. Fingers crossed.
Alex Ross Releases A Spider-man Trilogy Artwork
There has; however, been no word on the scenario yet. The mystery has deepened with legendary painter Alex Ross’ recent post. Ross has shared a portrait of Spider-man swinging through New York while holding Mary Jane Watson. The particular version of Mary Jane closely resembles Kirsten Dunst’s portrayal of the character from Raimi’s trilogy. The scene gained fame for using a fake Spider-man dummy for the swinging stunt. Has MCU tapped on Alex Ross to paint the covers for its upcoming project? Will Sam Raimi’s movie-in-the-bin ever see the light of the day? Well, these are all the questions until Marvel throws in a few more hints at us.

Why Did Spider-man 4 Get Shelved?
Raimi’s Spider-man 4 had locked John Malkovich, Bruce Campbell, and Anne Hathaway to appear as Vulture, Mysterio, and Vulturess in the film respectively. James Vanderbilt was in-charge of writing. Unfortunately; however, Sam Raimi concluded that he could churn out a high-quality Spider-man 4 movie by its 2011 release date. Hence, Sony Pictures and Raimi decided to not go ahead with the film, and instead shift towards a different scenario for rebooting the superhero. Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 4 2020 hence
Sony Pictures rebooted Spider-man twice with the two The Amazing Spider-man parts starring Andrew Garfield. Sony then teamed up with the Disney-owned Marvel studios to introduce Tom Holland as the new Spider-man in Spider-man Homecoming, where he has since been knighted a member of the Avengers.
