You know what they say about the devil: he can be irresistible. We don’t know if anyone’s ever seen Satan. But the statement definitely holds true for the Satan from Netflix TV show, Lucifer. And the good news is, we will get to see Lucifer for one last time soon, as Netflix has renewed Lucifer for season 5.

Remember When Netflix Rescued Lucifer

Its no wonder Netflix rescued the former Fox show and rushed to create a fourth season this year. Netflix managed to win praise across the board from fans and critics alike. However, season 4 was supposed to be the final season. Netflix was not planning to renew it for a 5th season initially, however, Lucifans wanted more of Lucifer after the cliffhanger at the end of season 4. Ultimately, Netflix gave up and Lucifer is now officially renewed by the streaming service. Netflix is ready to launch the fifth and final season, one that is greatly looked forward by the audiences.

Lucifer’s Fifth And Final Season Is Coming

Yes, you read that right. Netflix has announced season 5 for Lucifer which will also happen to be its finally final season. Hence, it is highly looked forward by audiences across the board ever since the news was announced on the show’s twitter handle. Showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich said in a statement;

Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!

The announcement for the production schedule by the streaming service remains pending, for now, so we don’t know the release dates yet.

The Cast Reacts To Lucifer Season 5

The cast of Lucifer including Tom Ellis, Kevin Alejandro, and Rachael Harris reacted to the renewal of the series for one last time.

What’s Lucifer Upcoming Season About?

We’re not sure on what content we will be getting to see since the tagline of the 5th season only says “See You In Hell”. Will we get to see more of the miracle angel-baby? No idea. But it’s safe to say that the renewed season will be making headlines. Final seasons, like the reviews for Game of Thrones, are naturally more susceptible to criticism than the regular ones. It won’t be a surprise if we see our social media websites swarmed with updates on whether or not Netflix has done justice to the show.

Netflix won applause for rescuing Lucifer. We’d have to wait for what people have to say before it finally sends Lucifer to hell for good.
