Lana Del Rey’s sixth album is incoming and fans still do not know what to expect from the much awaited album Norman F*cking Rockwell.  Her widely applauded cover Doin’ Time releasing on May 16 this year. Ever since then, fans have been waiting for when the actual treat arrives – and what they should expect.

Lana Del Rey has, however, confirmed, that her new project is complete. Lana confirmed the completion of her album on an Instagram live. What’s an even bigger treat is Norman Fucking Rockwell was a project Lana Del Rey worked on with Jack Antanoff. The producer has previously worked with Taylor Swift, St. Vincent and Bleachers.

The Songs We Know So Far

This year, she also released ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but i have it’ this in January. The song was a much mellower version of Del Rey’s regular style with a hint of sullen melancholy. The song she released before that, Mariners Apartment Complex, had a similar light vibe to them. The songs also happen to be a part of Norman F*cking Rockwell. But does this go to say something about her next album?

What we know so far can be judged by two video tracks on her social media album. During an Instagram Live, Lana Del Rey could be heard jamming to her song playing in the background. The live broadcast featured the singer sitting in a car. The songs contained the lyrics

In your car, I’m a star/And I’m burning through you

On January 9th, she also confirmed the completion of her book featuring her original poetry. Some of it was later published in Vogue Italia after a shoot Lana Del Rey did for the magazine. In response to a fan asking the cost for the book, the singer said

$1… because my thoughts are priceless.
