Mindy Kaling Has a Piece on Amazon Publishing
The comedian and actress Mindy Kaling will soon return with another piece of writing. The upcoming set of essays will be released via Amazon Publishing, and therefore, will be free to all Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited customers. The much anticipated series of essays follows her 2011 memoir, ‘Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? and 2015’s ‘Why Not Me?’
Although this essay collection does not come out until the summers of 2020, Kaling has given a glimpse of everything she is penning down. But unlike all of her previous writings, this one focuses on the challenges of being a single mom. Even if it might not be useful like Mindy believes, at least we can be sure that the actress will have hilarious anecdotes to share.
Mindy Kaling Teases Upcoming Amazon Publishing Essay Collection
On Tuesday, Amazon Original Stories shared the release of Kaling’s essays in Summer 2020. The Amazon Publishing imprint explained that the essays can be downloaded as a Kindle eBook or as an Audible audio-book, which Kaling will narrate.
Mindy herself took to Instagram to share the news of the upcoming release, and elaborate on everything her new essay collection will feature. The book will feature stories into Kaling’s life as a single mom. But it includes how she maintains a balance between her work as a writer, an actress, and a comedian while taking good care of her daughter at the same time. In the post, Kaling shared that she might not have the best secrets to share. In fact, she may not have any at all. But she will still have a lot of failure stories and hilarious tips to share with us.
Mindy Kaling is as excited for the release as any of us. The actress can not wait for us to read her life as a single mom.

It’s so exciting for me to share the secrets of how I balance being a professional writer, actor, and single mom in a new collection of essays I’m writing through @amazonpublishing. I mean, it would be so exciting to share those secrets. I don’t have them. Like, not even close. This morning I bribed my baby with a remote control to get my car keys back. But I do have funny stories about my life and I can’t wait for you to read them. Link in bio for the deets!
The upcoming essays via Amazon Publishing remain a continuation of Mindy’s deal with the company.
