Mindy Kaling Discusses Her Stay in The Pierre, A Taj Hotel
Being a gorgeous, famous and successful actress-showrunner-author with over 11.9 million followers on Twitter must have its own perks- right? Of course, businesses will be willing to go to lengths to please you. Especially, if that one act might bring potential customers to them.
Maybe that was the case when The Office star Mindy Kaling travelled to The Pierre – a Taj Hotel on Fifth Avenue in Central Park. Kaling has been enjoying some quality time with family while being treated to exceptional services at The Pierre. Honored by her delightful stay, Kaling has applauded the hotel services and management on Instagram.
Mindy Kaling Appreciates ‘The Pierre’ For Exceptional Stay Services
The Office actress has thanked The Pierre for being a home to herself and her family. The highlights of her stay were the magnificent Central Park views from her bedroom windows and the service of the hotel. Plus, Mindy Kaling gave a special shout out to all the elevator operators who let her daughter push the elevator buttons every time she got in.
But looks like the visit was made extra special for the Indian-American actress because of the traditional variety of Indian traditional dishes in breakfast. Mindy Kaling particularly enjoyed ordering idli sambar – a South Indian stew prepared from lentils and tamarind broth. For this exquisite dining experience, she specially thanked Indian chefs Manjit Manohar and Ashfer Biju.
Alongside the post, Kaling shared pictures of what she enjoyed best at The Pierre – the view and the menu.

Thank you so much @thepierreny for being home to me and my family these past 9 days. 🏠🍎.The views of Central Park and service were unbelievable (shout out to all the elevator operators who let my daughter push the buttons every elevator ride 🤦🏾♀️)but probably my favorite part was that this Indian girl could order idli sambar for breakfast every morning. 🤤👌🏾💃🏽(✨special thanks to the talented chefs Manjit Manohar and Ashfer Biju ✨). It is no surprise that Kaling is a fan of entrepreneurs – she has previously given shout outs to different ones. With her recent Proud to be Indian series, Mindy Kaling admired Indian woman entrepreneur Payal Kadakia. Kadakia remains the owner and creator of ClassPass; an app that allows you to search for fitness classes near your area and attend them.
