John Mulaney and Peter Davidson, a Blooming Friendship
The former writer of SNL, John Mulaney, and the current cast member Pete Davidson is becoming quite the new comedic-duo. Both the comedians have been friends for quite some time now and we’re glad that they’ve taken this friendship on to the stage.
Friends Who Do Comedy Together, Stay Together
The duo announced in January that they both were going on tour together for a limited series of comedy shows. Their show, “Sundays with Pete & John” includes dates for New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This probably the reason why you keep seeing John and Pete together these days!
John Mulaney has posted several pictures of himself and Pete Davidson. Recently he posted another one of him with Pete together, thanking Pete for doing the tour with him.
We hope this friendship of their sticks together because really, they are funny together.
John Mulaney and Pete Davidson on SNL
A “Weekend Update” appearance reunited the duo together in January 2019. The two comedians took a dig at Clint Eastwood’s movie The Mule. However, they also talked about Pete’s social media suicide scare in a pretty sincere way.
“I’ve been spending time with Pete to try to show him that you can have a life in comedy that is not insane — a sober, domestic life”
Since then the comedians have guested on several shows.
