Leslie Jones Unable to Get Over Shawn Mendes and Antoni Porowski SNL Episode

Looks like the 4th May episode of SNL won hearts everywhere for multiple reasons. Not only did Adam Sandler made his hosting debut but Shawn Mendes also performed. That’s not it because we also saw Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye, and Leslie Jones herself gave out an incredible performance. In fact, this episode seems to be her favorite so far.

She took to Instagram to share a picture of Mendes and Antoni from SNL. Alongside it, she added in the caption that she just had to share it because they were beautiful. She even claimed that Shawn’s performance on the set was totally bomb.

The comments section exploded with fans expressing how powerful this combination was. Some claimed that Shawn Mendes and Antoni could easily pass as brothers. Others expressed that this was the greatest episode, and Leslie Jones was great as Groot.

Mendes herself talked about being in SNL as he took a break from the show’s rehearsals to chat to Beat 1 about his new single If I Can’t Have You.

He was unsure about his role, but since he got back from a wig fitting, he assumed he would be in a skit. While talking about his new experience of acting, he claimed that,

[Acting] is the biggest you-have-to-own it thing. As I’m starting to realize I can own this singing thing I think I’ll fall into acting and stuff more, 100%.
