Lifetime’s ‘American Princess’: See How a Runaway Bride Finds Solace in a Renaissance Fair

Life Time TV is all set to showcase Georgia Flood In and as ‘American Princess’ in Its June telecast, the new dramedy series, ‘American Princess’.

The Release Date Of American Princess

Lifetime TV’s original presentation, the “American Princess” will release on Sunday, June 2 at 10 pm ET/PT. The first season will telecast 10 episodes in the series.

Runaway Bride Finds Her New Home

Amanda, an Upper-class socialite elopes from her fairy-tale wedding, when, hours before her marriage she realized that her fiance had been cheating on her. However, she, instantly, comes out of the shock and runs away from her own wedding to the countryside. Here, she, incidentally, finds herself in a totally strange atmosphere, It was, in fact, a  Renaissance Fair.

The old-time premises is not introduced to contemporary facilities including phones or the internet. Georgia Flood, the American Princess then has no choice except to adopt the Renaissance lifestyle. She makes this decision when her unfortunate life incident becomes the talk of her town.

Georgia Flood As Amanda, The American Princess

Georgia Flood plays the lead role. She is an Australian actress who is now debuting in an American series. Her renowned work includes F Charlotte Barker in ‘Tangle.‘ Moreover, she’s also starred in ‘House Husbands‘ and ‘Wentworth.’ Our American Princess was once the Alice Ross-king from the  ‘ANZAC Girls’ as well.

American Princess is an A+E Studios presentation in association with Tilted Productions.

Jamie Denbo has actually been an actress for quite a while in the Hollywood industry. You may recognize her from the hit show “Ronna & Beverly” and her voicing the character of Marie in Netflix’s animated comedy F is for Family. It would make sense that a comedic mind such as hers is also behind the crafting of American Princes as the director, producer and writer. Plus, she will make a guest appearance herself as well!

Moreover, Kohan (“Orange is the New Black” ), Herrmann ( “GLOW”) and Mark A collaborate Denbo in the production.

The Cast

The comedy series is, in fact, pairing Flood with Lucas Neff (“Raising Hope”). Lucas played the character of  David, the Ren Faire actor, other cast includes Seana Kofoed as Maggie, the venerable Queen Elizabeth at the Faire; Mary Hollis Inboden as Delilah, a free-spirited  Amanda’s new best friend; and Rory O’Malley as Brian, Maggie’s the Faire’s beloved Shakespeare.

Some guest appearances are however essential to add flavors in this Lifetime TV episodic series. These guests include Jamie Denbo, the creator herself! Moreover, we will get to see Matt Peters, Lucas Hazlett, Sophie Von Haselberg, Lesley Ann Warren, Natasha Leggero, Steve Agee, Tommy Dorfman, Fortune Feimster, John Ross Bowie and Matt Ehrich.
