Avengers: Endgame’s Chris Evans Campaigns to Protect the Earth
The popular actor Chris Evans has proved that he is just like Captain America, the character he plays in Avengers: Endgame. Evans is attempting to save the actual planet by helping out a campaign to save forests.
With his We Love the Earth campaign, Chris Evans is supporting the Waorani people. Consequently, the actor hopes to gather enough support to save Amazon forests. We all know how important these forests are for our future.
Chris Evans Supports the Waorani People to Save their Land
Apparently, the Waorani people had been campaigning to protect 500,000 acres of their rain forest land from oil extraction. They decided to take the battle against the Ecuadorian government into courts. The community demanded that the court order the authorities to not damage the most bio diverse land on Earth. This implied that the government would no longer be able to destroy the forests for capitalist reasons.
Chris Evans took to Twitter to share his new ideology on ‘We Love the Earth’. He added that the Waorani people were just two days away from actually saving half a million acres of forest from being cut down for oil rigging. But all that this community and this campaign needed was public support.
So, he requested that people to watch the video that he shared in order to send out a clear message to the Ecuadorian government. The government should know that they have to protect indigenous rights and the Amazon.
#WeLoveTheEarth so let’s protect it!
