Netflix is all set to release season 4 of Lucifer on May 08, 2019. The official trailer came out yesterday and it looks like we are going to finally see many versions of good cop and bad cop yet again.  However, the trailer has a spotlight on a particular bad cop. It is not just the devil’s original face that come between Lucifer Morningstar and Chloe Decker. While Chloe is trying to digest that her potential boyfriend is a devil in literal disguise, Lucifer faces an old love coming back to his life. We have Eve (tagged as the original sinner herself) coming to season 4 and shake things up.

The Devil has Risen

The trailer revolves around the love triangle of Eve, Lucifer and Chloe. Where Eve pushes Lucifer to embrace his darkness, Chloe keeps reminding him that this is not him. The first teaser was released on the fifth of April 2019 with Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and Eve (Inbar Levi).

As he said, we will see more of him on Netflix. We bet it will be true as the devil has risen after years showcasing a 666 tattoo. Now, 666 has many interpretations and we are not going to delve into the details but 666 here clearly means a symbol of the evil.

What is New in Lucifer Season 4

While we see all our loved characters like Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt), Amenadiel (D.B.Woodside), Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris), Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia) returning to Lucifer to support him. They also do a little therapy on him to keep him on track. The new character Eve played by Inbar Levi also seems like an amazing addition.

Lucifer season 4 has 10 episodes which means all the Lucifer fans will be binge watching the show in a whole day. We hope there is a season 5 coming as well.

What You Need To Know Lucifer’s Past Seasons

Lucifer himself has perfectly summarized all the 3 seasons in a 3 minute video. If you have a moment, do check it out:

From TeamFox to TeamNetflix

Lucifer was originally a Fox series. However, due to a rating based decision taken by Fox the series was cancelled after 3rd season on May 11, 2018. Tom Ellies and Lucifans were not happy with the decision and they started a petition to save the series.

The hashtags SaveLucifer and PickupLucifer were trending when ultimately Netflix decided to pick Lucifer up. If only Netflix did that with One Day At a Time as well.
