What time will Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere?
The highly anticipated Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere in the US at 9 PM Eastern time. For UK viewers, it will premiere on 2 AM on the 15th of April.
Where Can You Watch Game Of Thrones Season 8 Online
You need an official HBO account to access the final episodes of Game of Thrones’ final season. Though, there are still plenty of other options where you can stream Game of Thrones online. There are several platforms online from where you can watch the final episodes comfortably at your own pace.
1) Direct From HBO
If you have subscribed HBO via a conventional cable package or if you have it separately, you can watch the show directly from HBO.
2) HBO GO
HBO also offers an HBO Go service where they can either stream Game of Thrones season 8 live or on demand. There’s also an app available for this purpose. You can purchase the app by seeing if your electrical device is supported by HBO Go’s service or not here.
3) HBO Now
It’s basically Netflix but for HBO TV shows and movies. HBO Now is standalone service and you don’t have to subscribe through a cable company or a steaming service. You can simply go to the website directly or their app to stream any show you want to.
Luckily, there is a one-week trial available for anyone who forgot to subscribe to the HBO platforms before the premiere. Though, after that trial is over, you have to pay $14.99 a month.
If you aren’t on any of these aforementioned platforms, you being on other streaming platforms won’t entirely go to waste. There’s an option on particular services where you can add HBO to that platform for an extra monthly fee.
Those streaming platforms include Amazon Channels such as Amazon Prime. It costs just about $14.99 to have HBO as an add-on, so essentially the same as the HBO Now service. Other options include Hulu and PlayStation Vue which have the option available for the same monthly cost. Hence, if you’re subscribed to these platforms, you can stream Game of Thrones season 8 online!
There’s also the most expensive streaming service DirecTV Now to stream Game of Thrones Season 8 online, but it costs about $50 per month. However, if you have this service then you will have access to HBO GO which gives you a chance to stream a lot more than Game of Thrones.
