For the XO family out there, we all know we’ve been impatiently waiting for Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd in muggle terms), to release his new album. He has been dropping hints for what has seemed like forever. However, in the meantime, he’s apparently been up to other exciting secret projects. One of them include helping Canadian rapper Nav produce his soon-to-be-released album, ‘Bad Habits’. Nav’s comeback has been long awaited.

There’s no doubt that The Weeknd’s output will reflect well on this new album. As an exceptionally talented and highly experienced artist, he has helped Nav find his own sound.

In fact, the album is set to be released tonight, the 22nd of March, 2019.

It will be interesting to see what Nav has come up with, after his hit single ‘Call Me’, which was released last year among other singles such as ‘Know Me’ and ‘Wanted You’. He’s been on the journey to discovering his own independent sound for a while now. And, ‘Bad Habits’ will tell us all we need to know. Moreover, according to speculators, Nav seems incredibly “focused” in the visual teaser trailer for his upcoming album. He shared the trailer over Instagram a few days ago.

“You found out your girlfriend is a thot ho, I found out my penthouse on the top flo’, still the same person I just shop more,” he raps. Meanwhile, a black-and-white montage plays in the background, showing clips from studio sessions and backstage camaraderie. It’s an interesting insight into what the new album is bound to entail. It can be seen that Nav has put in a lot of hard work and effort into it. And it seems the songs will be a glimpse into his high-driven, rapper lifestyle.

We haven’t seen a track list for the upcoming album yet. Nonetheless, it’s safe to assume that ‘Bad Habits’ will probably be Nav’s most complete project. Even though criticism can be expected, we’re looking forward to see what the young rapper has in store. This album could be the new launch of his future career in rap and music.
