Joe Sugg is one of the presenters on the 2019 Red Nose Day telethon. He was, therefore, hosting the broadcast during the 22:30 – 00: 55-time slot.

Comic Relief and Red Nose Day
Red Nose Day 2019 was a fundraising event organized by Comic Relief. The event was broadcast live from Elstree Studios on BBC One and BBC Two from the evening of 15 March 2019 to early 16th March morning. Amazingly, the charity event gathered a sum of £63,548,668 in one night.
Similarly, Comic Relief is a 1985-origin British charity foundation. Popular comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry founded this charity in response to famine in Ethiopia. The Red Nose Day is a biennial telethon held in March, organized by Comic Relief. Comic Relief is, in fact, one of the two telethon events held in the United Kingdom, the other is Children in Need. Moreover, the 14 March 2015 the day, consequently, highlighted that the Comic Relief has collected an excess of £1 billion at the events of Red Nose Day and Sports Relief.

The Red Nose Day, two years ago, eventually, raised £71.3m by the end of the evening. Half the money raised from Comic Relief goes to causes in the UK. However, sufferers around the world receive the other half.
The Night-Long Telethon
