Nicki Minaj Sends Love To Ariana Grande Over International Women’s Day 2019 Honor
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2019, Grande paid her respects to the ‘strong as hell’ female role models from the industry. In her tribute she cherished the stereotype-breakers of Hollywood including Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Victoria Monnet, and many others. Instagram’s new most highly followed celebrity also prized her musical peer Nicki Minaj in her story. As Minaj learned about Grande’s salute, she quickly took to Twitter to acknowledge the homage.
The Queen wrote,
“Love to this lil lady & love to all you iconic women out there in the world. You are appreciated.”
Fans Demand A 2nd Bed Musical Video
Watching Ariana and Nicki Minaj jell so well together, fans stormed the thread with demands of another collaboration. Grande and Minaj have worked together several times in the past.
They first collaborated together alongside Jessie J on 2014 track Bang Bang. Later that same year, Ariana made a guest appearance on Nicki’s tune Get On Your Knees. Two years later, Nicki returned the favor as she featured on Side to Side, which was taken from Ariana’s album Dangerous Women. Finally in 2018, they featured on each other’s records again. First Nicki Minaj appeared on The Light Is Coming. While later, Grande lent her musical talents to Bed.
The charming, raunchy, and forceful Bed music video scored as high as 64 million views. While the song went on to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 for multiple weeks. Ever since the release of Bed, fans have been craving for a 2nd Bed music video.
At least the growing and probably ‘never ending’ love between the two artists allows some optimism for the probability of a 2nd Bed music video. If not that, we can still conclude that another collab is not far-fetched.
