Jeffree Star Has Cancelled Popular Make-up Brand Claire’s
Jeffree Star, the popular YouTube makeup artist warns the public against the contaminated Claire’s makeup products’. He recently stated that he has cancelled Claire’s products until further notice.

Claire, however, is the world’s leading retailers of fashion jewellery and accessories for young women, teens, tweens and kids.
The renowned retailer recently faced trouble as many of its products are recalled after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found certain Claire’s makeup products with dangerous asbestos fibres. Up till now, three of Claire’s products including Eye Shadows, Compact Powder and Contour Palette give a positive result revealing the presence of tremolite asbestos.
Jeffree Star perhaps posted this warning because, first, a mother, Kristi Warner, raised a complaint against Claire’s products. She, in fact, purchased a glitter makeup kit for her 6-year old daughter. Upon suspicion, the mother sent the makeup kit for independent testing. She, thus, received a phone call confirming that the product contained 100 per cent fatal tremolite asbestos. As a matter of fact, this asbestos poisoning can lead to a serious carcinogenic condition called mesothelioma, NBC News 10 reports.
Claire’s has a long and sound standing in female products retailing service. The brand, therefore, is the “Girl’s Best Friend” with no less than 900 million female customers. Celebrities also pick their various accessories from Claire’s. Kaley Cuoco, Vanessa Hudgens and even Mariah Carey’s own daughter are, in fact, Claire’s loyal customers.

Moreover, ardent buyers like Angelina O’Connor seems agreed with Jeffree Star. The buyer was highly disappointed to learn about this asbestos scam.

Jeffery gained more than 11 million subscribers and over 1.2 billion views, as of 2018.
This is not the first time when Jeffree Star addressed a scam about other female make-up and accessory brands. The artist, in fact, has criticized many make-up brands and exposes beauty communities in the past. This time however the matter is quite grave and concerning as it is related to the life-threatening asbestos poisoning.
