Glow actress Alison Brie is often in the news for her philanthropic ventures.  She along with her husband, Dave Franco, often makes hard efforts to give something back to the society. And for this reason, fans direct their love towards her. This time, Alison Brie and Dave Franco have once again joined hands to play their due part for the society. The couple has decided to participate in the 2019’s Cycle For Survival. The movement aimed at beating rare cancers was able to strike a chord with the couple. Alison Brie And Dave Franco Cycle For Survival In Memory Of A Friend

A few years ago, Alison Brie and Dave Franco lost a friend Brian Rozzelle to a rare cancerous disease. In memory of their departed friend, the two have decided to partner with the movement he had campaigned tirelessly for. Rozelle was a Cycle For Survival spokesperson. At the age of 27, Brian Rozelle was diagnosed with a rare and terminal cancer called cholangiocarcinoma, cancer of the bile duct.

Despite the effects of chemotherapy and many health-related challenges, he dedicated his time to being an advocate for rare cancer patients. The couple mentions that they used to cycle with Rozelle. Now; however, its just his memories that will paddle along with them.

Alison Brie, who is currently shooting for Netflix’s Glow Season 3, has requested her fans to support her Cycle For Survival ride. This is the sixth time the couple has joined the campaign. And they are calling for donations in support of their race in L.A. The team’s fundraising goal is $3000, and so far they have been able to raise $1060. Alison Brie Wants To Help Rare Cancer Research, Patients, and Treatment

About her campaign. Brie says,

“I ride in the memory of my friend, Brian Rozelle. He lived his life energetically, with great joy and compassion for others. His struggle against a rare cancer lead me to Cycle For Survival – where he rode every year; giving heartfelt speeches and words of encouragement to everyone he met. He inspired every person he encountered. I’m proud to represent him in my ride to help beat rare cancers.”
