Jaclyn Hill Is Angry At the Parents in ‘Abducted In Plain Sight’ Netflix Documentary

Jaclyn Hill, the popular You Tuber has recently posted her pugnacious responses after watching ‘Abducted In Plain Sight’ the Netflix True Crime Documentary.
The makeup Diva, Jaclyn Hill, in fact, turned offensive on Social Media against the ignorant behavior of the victim’s parents.

She recently shared her disappointments upon parent’s negligence at her twitter account.
The post obviously went viral with a parade of supporting comments following Jaclyn’s point of view.

Abducted In Plain Sight: Who Is Responsible

Abducted In Plain Sight is, perhaps, one of the most talked true crime documentary streaming on Netflix. The documentary was primarily released in the US in May 2017. However, it only dropped on Netflix UK last month. The gloomy truth gained an overwhelming response on social media with mixed responses.

Some Social Media followers reflect soft corner for the victimized family, however, most of the twitter and other platform’s subscriber revolt against the parent’s careless attitude.

According to authentic reports, director, Skye Borgman claimed that Jan Bob thanks the show makers as they had told their story in such a sensitive way. Furthermore, Skye explained that she fully understands the internet’s reaction to his documentary.

Netflix, ‘Abducted In Plain Sight’: A Mourning Tale

The true crime story from Netflix narrates the life of Idaho teenager, Jan Broberg. The poor girl was abducted twice and sexually abused by family friend/neighbour, Robert Berchtold in the 1970s. Robert Berchtold infectiously convinced both of Jan’s parents to let him get close to their young daughter. He then secretly kidnapped the girl, leaving the parents helpless. The parents did not report in police as they didn’t want to tell anything to Berchtold’s wife.

The True Documentary On Jane’s Life

Director and producer, Skye Borgman created this true crime documentary. It, however, took three years to complete. The show, thus, displayed duplications of the events. It also relays talking-head interviews with the victim Jan, her parents, Berchtold’s brother and case associated FBI agent.

Later, Bob and his wife Mary Ann remained together until his death. As a matter of fact, the culprit Berchtold did not get punishment for Broberg’s abuse, however, he did spend a year in jail after pleading guilty to child rape in 1986. Moreover, the guilty-party died by attempting suicide. Jan’s father Bob breath his last in November 2018.

Jan’s mother, Mary Ann, has, thus, dedicated her life to warning parents of the dangers of abusers. In 2003, the desperate mother, in fact, co-wrote a book with her daughter, titled ‘Stolen Innocence: The Jan Broberg Story’.

Shockingly, another miserable part of the story reveals that both of Jane’s parents had sexual encounters with Berchtold.
