Serena Williams Has New Found Love for Pottery
T he 23 time Grand Slam Champion Serena Williams has for sure mastered her time on the court. And well, that’s obvious since the woman barely ever loses in tennis. But now that she is taking some time off in between tournaments, it all goes into looking after her husband and her baby daughter. But well, not all of it because Serena looks like trying to master the art of pottery. Not sure how she ended up with that interest, but she has shared proof of her pottery skills with her 10 million followers on Instagram.
Serena Williams Chooses Pottery Over Celebrating Valentines Day…
Serena Williams hasn’t played since the Australian Opens. But that does not make her life any less happening. She took to Twitter to share how she never celebrates Valentines Day. But instead, she opted for spending the day with her girlfriends doing some pottery. And she appreciated her husband of being supportive and understanding her by respecting her beliefs.
I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day so it was nice to have a girls day. Having @alexisohanian be supportive and understand is one of a kind. I’m so fortunate for him to get it and respect my beliefs. pic.twitter.com/36p887WKEX

Serena also added photo evidence of the fact that she was getting good at pottery. She added a picture on Instagram making a pot out of clay. And captioned it saying that she was really getting into pottery.
Serena Williams a tennis champion who has created a place for herself in the tennis world due to her remarkable performance. On the heels of her run to the Australian Open quarterfinals, Williams’ ranking is up to No. 11. Williams was stuck in the middle of some racist controversy when she wore a catsuit to the court shorty after giving birth. And when that outfit was banned, she clapped back by wearing a tutu. Williams has also been relatively vocal about the racism in the field. And maybe that’s the reason she expressed continued solidarity for Colin Kaepernick after he protested against it.
