T here is a spinoff of the very popular US show- a UK version of RuPaul! And what’s probably even better is that Graham Norton and Alan Carr are confirmed as celebrity judges. They will be rotating resident judges and will be joined by RuPaul, Michelle Visage and a guest celebrity judge. The Irish TV presenter and the comedian are both super excited to be on board. And well, they are not the only ones because fans are unable to control their enthusiasm. It  was announced in December that the Emmy award-winning show would be coming to BBC Three this year. But when exactly is still a mystery to resolve!

Graham Norton and Alan Carr Confirmed to be on RuPaul UK Version…

Graham Norton definitely knows how this show works. And that’s because he was a guest on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2016, while Carr interviewed him on Chatty Man. Apparently, Graham has been a fan of the show ever since. He exclaimed that being a part of the RuPaul Race family made him incredibly happy. And that he could not wait to see what the UK drag queens brought to the party. But he hoped that whatever they do better works. In a video message that he recorded on Twitter, Graham Norton joked that maybe this is what UK was good at.

On the other hand, Alan Carr has similar emotions. He has also been a fan for a long time now and said that sitting next to Michelle Visage and Mama Ru as a guest judge on possibly one of his all-time favorite shows was a dream come true. And he couldn’t wait to see what the UK Queens had in store for them.

The host and show creator Ru Paul himself is totally pleased with his UK judges.

Just like the US version, RuPaul UK version will have 10 contestants compete in individual and team challenges culminate in a weekly challenge which could be a performance, a photo shoot or a runway walk-off, until one drag queen is left.

Graham Norton is an Irish television presenter based in the United Kingdom.  He is a five-time BAFTA TV Award winner for his comedy chat show The Graham Norton Show and an eight-time award winner, overall. As for Alan Carr, he is an English comedian and television personality. His most prominent works include Alan Carr: Chatty Man, The Friday Night Project and Nativity!
