T he popular actress Lisa Kudrow is no fan of slavery, no matter what kind it is. And she has made it pretty evident by extending support to the End it Movement. For those who are wondering why they might have seen a celebrity, politician or a friend with a red cross on their hand, it’s because they are protesting against slavery. With today being the seventh annual ‘Shine a Light on Slavery Day’, many celebrities posted Instagram pictures with their red crosses. And that includes the FRIENDS actress who played the role of Phoebe among many others.

Lisa Kudrow Supports End it Movement on Instagram

Lisa Kudrow uploaded a picture on Instagram showing off a red cross on the back of her hand. And captioned the picture saying that slavery still existed and that she was not okay with it. She added that they should all shine a light on slavery day together till the time that everyone was completely free. Lisa concluded her post directing her fans to the End it Movement official account for more details.

What is the ‘End it Movement’?

The End it Movement is a campaign designed to increase awareness on slavery, and help eradicate the evil from society altogether. With the help of this movement, people are attempting to shine a light on modern-day slavery. This Thursday marks the seventh annual Shine a light on Slavery Day. Thousands of people came together to speak for those who are in slavery. Giving the voiceless attention across the globe. Lisa Kudrow showed her concern as well!

Almost seven years back, people decided to honor the End it Movement by wearing a red cross on their hands on this day. Even today, hundreds and thousands came out including celebrities and public figures to upload pictures with their red crosses, just as Lisa Kudrow did. With crimes like human trafficking increasing at unimaginable rates, this movement is becoming more popular than ever.

Lisa Kudrow is an American actress most popular for her remarkable performance as Phoebe in the sitcom FRIENDS. She has made several appearances in different sitcoms and comedy shows including Cheers. But she rose to prominence as Ursula in Mad About You. Her other famous works include The Baby Boss, Grace and Frankie, BoJack Horsemanand The Comeback.
