One Day at a Time was a politically woke show that truly changed the game for modern sitcoms. It’s an entertaining show but it’s not insensitive to any race, ethnicity, gender or serious issues likes mental health and the LGBTQ community. The show is about a single Latina mom (Justina Machada) who’s an army veteran raising her gay daughter (Isabella Gomez) and son (Marcel Ruiz) with her overly Cuban mother (Rita Moreno). The first two seasons of One Day at a Time were pretty popular. Everyone was wondering about One Day at a Time season 3! Thankfully, it’s coming really soon.
Recently, one of the cast members Marcel Ruiz who plays the confident Alex Alvarez on the show, posted this exciting behind the scene footage of the anticipated season 3! Check it out.
Marcel Ruiz seems to be in fake character mode where his face is covered in kisses (we’re hoping their from his on-screen grandmother Rita Moreno but who knows!). Ruiz does the iconic salt bae signature move where he’s sprinkling fake salt onto an invisible dish. The behind the scenes footage ends with the actor laughing and smiling.
It doesn’t reveal much but the overall mood seems to be joyful and exciting. Fans are eagerly waiting for One Day At a Time’s season 3 premiere! Fortunately, we just have to wait about 11 days more.
Previously, they released a trailer for the upcoming season. Check it out here.
One Day at a Time season 3 release date on Netflix is 8th February.
