And yes also address Davidson's worrying suicide threat

Pete Davidson put everyone in a state of worry when he publicly posted a concerning suicide message on Instagram and then deactivated his Instagram account. He took a break from show Saturday Night Live where friends like Machine Gun Kelly helped him relax and he may have even flirted with actress Kate Beckinsale. Though, now we know (shockingly) that he is also friends with John Mulaney. Not just that, but the two friends watched new movie The Mule by Clint Eastwood. Did they like it? Well, the way they hilariously dissed the entire movie will have you laughing!

The Mule by Clint Eastwood

Veteran actor Clint Eastwood makes an entrance to Hollywood again by  this movie which is about a 90-year-old drug mule. Just when you thought there were no more roles left for the Oscar-nominated actor and director, he surprises you. However, it hasn’t got the most of positive of reviews. The script wasn’t up to the mark as fans would have expected.

But what do Pete Davidson and John Mulaney think about it?

On Saturday Night Live Weekend Update, Pete Davidson and John Mulaney have an amazing chemistry that’s easily evident on the set. The duo state that this movie is absolutely bananas. In their eyes, what’s more fascinating about the story isn’t that there is a 90-year-old guy transporting drugs, but rather a 90-year-old guy who can drive. So, essentially it’s a superhero movie for the older demographic.

Moreover, the two found it beyond impressive that Clint Eastwood has two threesomes in the movie. Pete Davidson and John Mulaney highlight the fact that Clint Eastwood also directed this movie. Despite not being a formal movie review, it is still pretty accurate and one we’d like to see more in the future.

Pete Davidson Also Addresses Suicide Message

When SNL co-star Michael Che asks Pete Davidson about how he is, and it seems like he really is. He told Michael Che and Colin Jost that he’s doing great.  The suicide message came after his difficult split with Ariana Grande and all of the hate the received due to it from the public.

Though on SNL, Ariana Grande’s ex was pretty cheerful with his buddy John Mulaney who’s been helping him how to have fun with a ‘sober’ lifestyle.

To Mulaney showing him the sober lifestyle, Pete Davidson joked about it:

“Yeah, and after observing John’s life, I publicly threatened suicide. I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t make that joke. It is funny though,”

Davidson is already sure that people will still criticize him for that joke but he still found it funny. We’re glad to see him doing all right and being able to joke about such a painful experience in his life.

Though, Mulaney being the sober friend chimed in saying,

“Pete, look at me, look me in the eye. You are loved by many and we are glad you are OK.

The reason for John Mulaney understanding him so much is probably because of the fact that Mulaney himself used to have a drinking problem long ago. Now that’s overcome it, he wants to help his friends like Davidson who might be entrapped by it as well.

Hopefully, we’ll see more of Pete Davidson on Saturday Night Live like this more.
