Tim Berners-Lee, the father of the modern world wide web must be proud that the digital world has gotten to the point where people are talking about how an egg beat another celebrity’s record of having the most liked picture on Instagram. Moreover, the talk-show hosts on late night are paying attention to it as well! The Late Show With Stephen Colbert joked about how they had the egg to star on their show.

Humanity, despite being divided for most part of their history, somehow decided that getting this egg’s dreams come true was their mission. Hence, it came true.

The famous picture now stands a record whopping 47 million likes currently.

To the curious minds to know who’s behind this genius stunt, it was allegedly a chicken named Henrietta who lives in England. More realistically, it’s someone living in the London area.

They managed to defeat Kylie Jenner’s picture of her daughter Stormi, who now has just 18 million likes. Previously, it was the most liked picture on Instagram.

But don’t worry Kylie Jenner fans! She did take her own form of revenge on the egg, by breaking a real egg onto the street.

Let’s see what’s next for the little fella! Stephen Colbert certainly made a hilarious joke out of the whole matter for our pleasure. Who knows? Maybe, a man in an egg costume posing as the famous egg on the social media platform might drop by for an interview! You keep rocking, little egg.
