Hulu has cancelled the comical talk show, ‘I love You America’ After Its First Season

It’s still unbelievable for the grief-stricken fans that the popular Sarah Silverman’s I Love You, America is cancelled. Hulu has cancelled the comical talk show ‘I Love You, America’, after its first season. Because of the bitter fact, Sarah Silverman revealed the decision this Wednesday morning on Twitter.

Sara’s mournful tweet, “Well, Hulu cancelled I LOVE YOU AMERICA and we’re all pretty d— heartbroken,” “So in traditional Twitter funeral style, I’ll be RTing the love [for the show].”

Basically, Sarah Silverman dealt with the current politics as well as social situations in America via comic mode to run the show.

What The Sarah Silverman Show Is All About

In addition to Sarah’s monologue, the ‘I love You America’ episodes featured exclusive guest interviews and pre-taped field segments. The first season has 10 episodes, each with an hour-long length while the second season aired 11 hour-long episodes. These all episodes focus to unite a politically divided nation. This Sarah

Silverman’s ‘I love you America’ weekly, aired its premiere in October 2017. Moreover, an order for 11 additional episodes is added in September 2018. The season ended on Nov. 15 with season finale episode. This final episode has now become the series finale.

Given the fact that the show was very popular among viewers, both Silverman and her fans are in a state of a surprise why Hulu has taken this decision. The outstanding variety sketch series category for Emmy in fact nominated the show for 2018 awards. As well as the show got a nomination in WGA Award for best comedy/variety sketch series. Furthermore, the series has gained 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hulu Has Reason To Cancel The Show

On the other hand, Hulu’s decision of cancelling the show is quite firm.

It definitely looks like that the variety series and talk shows are more challenging for streaming platforms: For example, Last year, Netflix has cancelled multiple talk shows including The Break With Michelle Wolf and The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale.

To sum up, I Love You, America aired a total of 21 episodes. Silverman and Funny or Die productions have produced the show. The creators can now take their show to other streamers.
