Drake Is Under Fire For Groping a Minor
The internet was already angry at the new docu-series Surviving R. Kelly which is bringing forward women who have been physically, mentally or sexually abused by R. Kelly. But now some of the heat is being diverted to Drake. And that’s because a video of him groping a minor has resurfaced from 2010. The Canadian rapper can be seen inviting a young fan on stage, and then groping her, kissing her and practically harassing her in front of a huge crowd. Although representatives for the rapper are not commenting, Twitter is on a roll. Drake has not issued a public statement ever since the video was posted again. But online social media users are having a fierce battle on the rapper’s conduct. And looks like this one won’t be as easy as winning a lawsuit against the woman who accused him of rape.
Drake Attempts to Kiss and Grope a 17-year old in his Concert From 2010
Drake is facing some real fire on the internet after a video from his 2010 concert resurfaced. Apparently, in a break between the two, the rapper invited a young girl from the audience onto the stage. After slow-dancing with her, he pulls her back towards himself, and smells her hair. While doing so, he cried out loud saying,
I told you I like your hair, right? What is that? Is that Herbal Essence?
As the audience screamed and laughed, he started kissing the back of her neck. But did not just stop there as he felt her up, and kissed her face and lips. After asking her how old she is, and hearing that she is only 17, he exclaimed that he did not want to go to jail just yet. The rapper then continued,
Well look, I had fun. I don’t know whether I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest.
And then he let her slip back into the crowd. Ever since it resurfaced, Drake has been slammed by social media users across the globe. He has himself not issued any public statement nor has his representative commented on the situation. But Twitter is raging as people judge his conduct against a minor. The much open and public harassment is evident, and people are just too shocked. Looks like this proved useful in diverting some hate off R,Kelly.
