Jennifer Lawrence Makes Annual Holiday Visit to Norton Children’s Hospital
Jennifer Lawrence is back at her Christmas tradition of handing out joy to children. The actress who lives in Kentucky made her annual visit to Norton Children’s hospital for another year. And as she gave out holiday joy and Christmas toys, she took some photographs with the staff and nurses as well. It seems like Lawrence seems to have developed a personal association with this hospital. The management has noted that ever since 2013, stepping here to meet the kids has become sort of a tradition for her. But apart from the holiday joy, Jennifer is taking some other initiatives as well. Back in February, she announced a huge donation for the development of a cardiac ICU at the hospital. Looks like she really has a thing for visiting children at hospitals, and not just this one as she has repeated this practice even abroad.

As part of her Christmas tradition, the Dark Phoenix actress spent her Christmas Eve at Norton’s Children hospital. She dropped by, and took pictures with the admitted patients and staff present there. To be specific, she dropped by a cancer unit and an intensive care unit.
This time for her annual visit, Lawrence collaborated with The Louisville Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and handed out toys to the children. The organization shared snaps of the visit on their social media. And even added a moving caption on how Jennifer talked to a girl who had been in the hospital since July. As per the Facebook post, they distributed toys to the children on 7 West (Oncology) and to the children on the PICU at the 4th Floor.
Norton’s Children hospital also posted about the visit on their own Instagram. And thanked Jennifer Lawrence for spreading holiday cheer. The hospital has also noted that this has become a Christmas tradition for the young actress. She has been visiting the hospital ever since 2013 each year. Back in February 2016, she even announced a huge donation for this unit. Lawrence contributed $2 million for the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.
