Holy Sh**! Did you watch the new trailer for Godzilla: King of Monsters?! With the first trailer, it was like they were just teasing us. We were treated to the idea of what Titans were. However, in this new trailer for the movie, we see them Actually see them in their full glory.

Trailer 2 Starts Different

We can see that Millie Bobby Brown is front and center of this epic monster showdown. As the trailer starts, she’s in some kind of shelter. She is trying to get a message out. However, she starts picking up the reception and hear things she might have wanted to avoid.

The Monsters aka Titans

In the last trailer, Vera Farmiga’s character introduced us to the Titans. The world’s original monsters were unleashed by Earth to eliminate the human race. In this equation, the human race is an infection. She says that they must find all the Titans before they are unleashed. We are guessing the plan did not work.

In the Godzilla movie released in 2014, we were introduced to MUTO-Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism. Deadly creatures that fed on nuclear warheads. Shot nuclear beams from their mouths. Pretty much destroyed Hawaii. Whatever it did, it was not a natural monster.

According to the logic of the movie, these monsters have existed on Earth for centuries. They have been lingering around the world. So why become active now?

Well, that’s because the human race is like an infection. And Earth has charged its Titans to protect the Earth from us.

Unleash the Monsters

So, bringing them together is probably not a great idea. Especially when they are going to fight for dominance over Earth. It is a plan that pretty much backfires by the look of it. In their battle for dominance, they wreak havoc on humans.

There is King Ghidora as we have learned. A three-headed, snake long necks monster. Which is a very terrifying scene to see. Especially with the striking dark background and lightening. Then the is a butterfly-like monster. Which is not as pleasant as a butterfly called Mothra. It turns everything into smithereens as it flies over it. There is also Rodan, a pteranodon-like creature. This monster, we can infer, gets its strength by sitting on active volcanoes. Then there were glimpses of a monster, crab-like, which emerge from under the ground.

King Kojira for the Win

Kojira or Godzilla as we know it seems to be the only hope for the human race. As Dr. Serizawa points out. We would be Godzilla’s pet instead of the other way around. We see Godzilla fight King Ghidora and we are living for it! Millie Bobby Brown summarized our reactions at the end of the trailer.

The release date for New Godzilla: King of Monsters is May 31st. The date was confirmed in this trailer.
