On January 6, the Beverly Hills Hilton will cheerfully welcome the pair as the Golden Globe show anchors. The duo recently  presented a prize at the Emmy awards. In fact, both celebrities are hosting any show together for the first time.

To acknowledge their hosting talents, Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks, co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment, release a statement.

“Sandra and Andy are the perfect choices to host this world-class event, They bring wit, charm and style to a room filled with the very best of film and television. It’s sure to be another unforgettable fun-filled night.”

As a matter of fact, it is pretty unusual for the award show to employ two hosts at the ceremony. Moreover, Canadian Oh and American Samberg were never a professional comedy couple. This is perhaps the second time a pair will host the show after a three year gap by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Seth Meyers hosted the last year’s award show.
